AgChoice Donates to Mercer County Dairy Promotion
September 28, 2017
The contribution ties to AgChoice's mission of supporting growth in rural communities.
As part of its annual customer appreciation event, AgChoice Farm Credit’s Meadville branch donated $150 to the Mercer County Dairy Promotion.
“We believe the future of Pennsylvania agriculture is a bright one,” said Jim Hoge, AgChoice branch sales manager. “Mercer County Dairy Promotion, a valued community partner, plays a vital role in that future by supporting local youth and agricultural education.”
AgChoice employees and directors hosted the customer appreciation event at Shenango Township Municipal Park and Canon Dairy Farm in West Middlesex. Over 200 customer-owners, community members and their families enjoyed a complimentary meal, robotic dairy tour, door prizes and other activities. The donation tied in to the event’s theme of celebrating growth in local agricultural communities.
AgChoice Farm Credit’s Meadville branch office services more than $132.8 million in total loan volume for agricultural, forest products and rural customers in Crawford, Erie, Forest, Mercer, Venango and Warren counties in Pennsylvania.
