Board Member Spotlight - Meet Kevin Grim
Kevin Grim is a grain farmer and grows corn, soybean and wheat on 1,560 acres. He also custom plants and harvests for other farmers in his community. He serves on the York County Conservation Board. We asked Kevin a few questions about what inspired him to join AgChoice. Check out his answers below, and be sure to say hello at our next event!
One fun fact about your business or career:
It is a joy to see my young children starting to work with me in our grain business.
Why did you choose to work with AgChoice for your financing needs?
The AgChoice loan officers are not only knowledgeable, but offer a great skill set, including outstanding collaboration with their agricultural clients.
Why did you decide to run for the Board of Directors?
I chose to run for the AgChoice Board because I respect the system and want to help keep the cooperative system moving forward in the future. It is an honor to serve our AgChoice community.
Advice you’d share with other customer-owners considering running for the nominating committee or a board seat in the future?
Serving in the AgChoice/Farm Credit System is a great opportunity. It gives you a better understanding of the cooperative and affords you with the ability to offer input for future growth.
